About this Policy. Customer Pipeline is owned and operated by Astro Arpanet LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Astro Arpanet," "we," "us," "our"). This Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you access or use our online business service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account and contact information. Name, email address, business details, billing information, and other information you provide when registering, subscribing, or contacting us.
- Service usage information. Information about how you and your visitors use the Service, such as messages, inquiries, preferences, and activity logs needed to operate the Service.
- Technical information. IP address, browser type, device type, and similar data collected automatically for security, operations, and performance.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You may manage cookies through your browser settings.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To process subscriptions, support requests, and communications with you.
- To monitor performance, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- To protect our rights, users, and the integrity of the Service.
3. Business customers and end users
If you are a business customer ("Customer"), you are responsible for providing appropriate notices and obtaining any required consents from people who interact with your use of the Service ("End Users"), for example visitors who use your hosted chat. As between you and Customer Pipeline, you are generally responsible for deciding why and how End User personal information is collected and used in your deployment, and we process that information on your behalf to provide the Service.
End Users should contact the business operating the chat for questions about how that business uses their information. Customer Pipeline's Terms and Conditions describe allocation of responsibility between Customers and Customer Pipeline.
4. Third-party websites and crawled content
When you provide website URLs, CMS webhooks, FAQ text, or similar sources, we may retrieve, store, and process content from those sources to build a knowledge base for your chat experience. That content originates from third parties and may include publicly available business information.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide those sources to us and for the accuracy and legality of the content you direct us to process. We do not independently verify third-party website content and are not responsible for how third-party sites collect or handle personal information.
5. Chat messages and lead information
When End Users use chat features you enable, we may collect and store information they submit, such as name, email address, phone number, marketing preferences, page URL, referrer, session identifiers, and message content. We use this information to operate chat, create leads, support your dashboard, and improve Service performance and security.
Message content may be processed by automated or AI-assisted systems to generate replies. Automated replies may be inaccurate or incomplete. Customers are responsible for supervising chat use and for communications with End Users.
6. How we share information
- Service providers. We may share information with vendors that help us host, operate, bill, or support the Service. They may use information only as needed to perform services for us.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security.
- Business transfers. Information may transfer in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Aggregated data. We may share aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify individuals.
We do not sell personal information.
7. Data retention and security
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You use the Service at your own risk. We are not responsible for unauthorized access caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party systems, networks, or devices, Customer misconfiguration, or content and information submitted by End Users through chat. Third-party websites and services linked from the Service are governed by their own policies.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Contact us through the Service to make a request. We may need to verify your identity.
Personal information may be processed in countries other than where you reside. By using the Service, you consent to transfers as necessary to provide the Service.
9. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted. Please review this page periodically.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astro Arpanet LLC's liability related to personal information handled under this Policy is subject to the disclaimers, limitations, and indemnification provisions in our Terms and Conditions.
We are not responsible for how Customers use leads, feedback, chat transcripts, or other information obtained through the Service, or for disputes between Customers and End Users. Customers are solely responsible for their privacy notices, consents, and communications with End Users.
11. Questions
Astro Arpanet LLC is the data controller for personal information processed through Customer Pipeline, except where you act as controller of End User Data as described above.
Questions about this Policy may be submitted through the Service or your account administrator. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions govern dispute resolution and limitation of liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
